Jason Botbyl: Commissioned Ford Pastor

IMG_0032-webIn 2012, I was commissioned as a preaching apprentice under the leadership of Pastor Brad and Pastor Dave. I am passionate about sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing hope to the lost and hurting. I consider it an honor to do that as a preaching apprentice at Madison at Ford. George Davis III: Ford Worship Director

We all play a vital role in worship. God is enamored by your voice, instrument, dance, spoken word, painting, prayer and peaceful contemplation. In my role as Worship Director I provide vision and oversight to worship and tech teams and all forms of creative expression. It is my prayer that we live daily lives of unrestrained worship & praise to God that are contagious and make HIS name BIGGER. I’m truly driven to see people encounter God through the arts and creating space where freedom and authenticity are at the core of worship. So, “Join me in spreading the news; together let’s get the word out”- Psalm 34:3 (MSG). [Email]

Joanna DeMoor-Tannor: Director of Children’s Ministries

Joanna DeMoor-TannorMadison at Ford is blessed with a wealth of children in our congregation. As essential parts of the body of Christ, these children bring many gifts to the church and to the kingdom of God. As the Director of Children’s Ministries, it is my privilege to work with children’s ministry leaders to enfold and disciple our children with excellence, to challenge our children to grow in their understanding of God, and to help them develop deeply rooted relationships with their heavenly Father. [Email]

Jo Anna Kelly: Pastoral Care Coordinator

I’m passionate about emotional and spiritual health. Connection in the body of Christ is so important, so I’m excited to help connect the Ford family to Pastoral Care resources for support, prayer, and guidance. I believe that God’s grace and love are modeled in powerful ways when we come alongside others in their pain to simply listen. When we experience loss or when we rejoice in new adventures, we seek out those who are significant to us to share in those moments. My hope is to help build support networks within the church to that end. [Email]

Layla Kuhl: 415 Franklin Project Manager

415 Project ManagerAs the 415 Project Manager I oversee all aspects of the 415 Project, including fundraising, recruiting partnering organizations, leading volunteers, and designing a long-term management structure. Above all I would like to see 415 Franklin St SE be redeveloped as a place of reconciliation, where God is glorified, people are empowered, and positive social change is created and sustained. Hoon Jae Lee: Ford Campus Intern

I am from South Korea. I grew up in the Philippines and grew up as a missionary kid. I am here at Grand Rapids MI studying at Calvin Theological Seminary doing M. Div. Currently, I am doing an internship at Madison Church: Ford Campus and I am blessed. I love Jesus Christ so much who is my and your personal Savior and decided to live my life for Him. Let me live my life not for my kingdom but for His Kingdom. And remember Jesus loves you always. Soli Deo Gloria!

Lynnae Pickens: KSSN Community School Coordinator

I support our brilliant students, their dedicated parents, and the amazing staff at the Gerald R. Ford Academic Center. I support them by bridging the gap between resources in our community and the families at school, and I help to lower absences and improve attendance. I also strive to make sure their academic, physical, and emotional needs are being met at school and in the home. I truly believe “it takes a village” and with a village supporting the students, they can achieve anything. So if you’d like to be a part of this village by tutoring, volunteering, mentoring, or providing resources, your support is greatly appreciated. Contact:  lynnaepickens@kentssn.org or 616-819-7581.

Adam Vanderwell:  Ford Director of Youth Ministry

I am passionate first and foremost about Jesus. The Jesus who reconciles us to himself and the same Jesus who invites us to join him as he makes all things new. I work to connect and engage our young people in the life of the Church. Empowering the next generation is a necessary and exciting way to invest in the future of our city and Church. [Email]
