As we engage further in our Mission, God grows us in new ways, filling us up so we want to take the Gospel OUT. In the “Going” phase, a person moves toward involvement and partnership in a person’s neighborhood, in the communities surrounding Madison congregations, and globally, by introducing Jesus holistically through ministry and evangelistic witness for the transformation of both individuals and communities. “Going” also engages believers in God’s mission to share Christ’s love with people who: (1) may be far from Him, (2) who need to grow up in faith, or (3) who need to be apprenticed for multicultural living, serving, or leading. This phase is also about a disciple who seeks to make disciples by helping others move through the disciple-making pathway. Going means that we seek to be a Disciple-maker, reproducing ourselves in another. Our primary ministry for this stage is not a program, but simply engaging in intentional relationships with another person in one of the three ways listed above.
