Cadets

for boys in 2nd-5th grade (or 6th grade if you prefer)
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. through May in the Multipurpose Room

Enjoy an evening of learning what it means to be a godly young man. They’ll develop skills and learn what the Bible teaches about being a follower of Jesus. Activities include Bible studies, gym time, craft time, special outings, and camp-outs. Cadets provides our boys with opportunities to grow in their character by teaching them responsibility and values that help their development as future leaders.

The boys will enjoy small group time discussing the biblical qualities that help them grow into real men. Gym time allows the boys to play various sports that teach them respect and sportsmanship. Craft time builds confidence and teaches the boys how to work with their hands on various projects they can be proud to take home. Overnight campouts provide an opportunity for fun and adventure!

The Ministry is open to church members and to the community. This is a great way for the boys to experience the fellowship of Jesus Christ by having fun and meeting other boys their age while building relationships with others in their community.

Leaders: Bob Bengelink, and Nate VerHeul
