Pastor Dave Beelen: Lead Pastor

As lead pastor I mentor and train our Preaching Team (Joy Bonnema, Brad Knetsch, Cisco Gonzalez, and Paula Seales), work closely with Pastor Brad to give him direction and guidance in leading Madison At Ford, and along with Pastor Joy Bonnema, give leadership in the pastoral care ministry of our congregation: weddings, funerals, baptisms and the Lord's Supper. Joy Bonnema: Pastor of Congregational Life

As Pastor of Congregational Life I am called to train and equip leaders who will care for and disciple the church so together we grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Key ministries that implement this vision are the Crisis Care Team and Small Groups Ministry. In addition, I have the privilege of serving the congregation through preaching, pre-marriage work, weddings, baptisms, and funerals. [Email]

Don Bryant: Tech Coordinator

I coordinate the activities of the volunteers who serve to enhance Madison's worship services and Christian education programs with their God-given visual projection and sound enhancement abilities. I also work with the Director of Communications to help the church staff achieve more productivity through computer and networking technologies. [Email]

Kristen Buurma: Children's Discipleship Director

As Children's Discipleship Director I oversee the Sunday morning Children's Ministries. I meet with the other directors to see that the vision of Madison Square Church is also being carried out in our Children's Ministries and to ensure that children are included as a vital part of the church family. I also support the Children's Ministry Leadership Team in choosing curriculum's, writing lessons, communicating with families, and equipping worship, teaching and registration teams.[Email]

Laura Carpenter: Director of Diversity and Worship

As Director of Diversity and Worship I oversee the work of the Anti-Racism team. The diversity side of my job is to lead us toward the vision of "building a community of diverse people" and we do that by celebrating our diversity, building racially reconciling relationships, and working together to understand and dismantle institutional racism. On the worship side, I work to keep our worship leaders and teams connected and striving for excellence. [Email]

Missy Flockhart: Early Childhood Ministries Director

I coordinate teams of people who lovingly care for our littlest ones on Sunday mornings and at special events. Rest assured that your baby, toddler, or preschooler will be well taken care of by our staff while parents and guardians receive instruction on God's path in other ministries or events. [Email]

Cisco Gonzalez: Jesus and Me Campus Pastor

I am humbled to be participating in the Preaching Team, the "Four Part Harmony." God's call to shepherd and serve his people has been on my life since high school. The call has six interrelated interdependent parts: be a tangible Christ, preach his word, pray for God's people, teach and encourage God's people to apply His word in life, build loving Christian community, and equip God's people to go and make disciples. Brad Knetsch: Madison at Ford Assistant Pastor and Middle School Youth Pastor

As Assistant Pastor at the Ford site and Middle School Youth Pastor, I’ve got two missions. One is targeted to youth and the other to a young, vibrant multisite. I serve by coordinating the Ford site and preaching at the Ford site under Campus Pastor Alton Hardy. Yet, I also lead the Middle School Youth program at the Square. So, whether it’s junior highers or senior folk, I go for 'em! It’s my passion to see people at Madison grow in their walk with Jesus. [Email]

Christy Carlin Knetsch: Director of Youth Ministry

As the Director of Youth Ministry, I am privileged to oversee both our Middle and High School Ministries. I also supervise our Grand Rapids Initiative for Leaders (GRIL U) Program, which prepares students for leadership and service in the church and world. Inspiring and equipping adults to invest deeply in the lives of students in grades 7-12 is my passion. Audrey Laninga: Director of Worship Arts

As the Director of Education and Worship Arts, I am accountable to cast a vision for Education. I also select, train, and direct a group of leaders who support this vision, while encouraging the spiritual growth of all who participate. As a co-leader of the Worship Design team, I lead a group who design worship services. The arts ministries which report to me are Dance, Drama, and Visual Arts (banners). [Email]

Leslie Montgomery: Choir Director

One of the best-loved ministries of Madison has been its Gospel Choir and I am blessed to be leading it in this season. We have a great group that meets every Thursday and we're always learning new songs and styles of music. New Singers and Worshipers ALWAYS Welcome! [Email]

Mark Nieboer: Property Manager

As Property Manager, I have oversight of the upkeep and improvement of the church's physical property. This includes supervision of paid custodial staff and a contracted cleaning service, soliciting bids for major repairs or service contracts, and scheduling routine maintenance and inspections. I also coach the Parking and Building and Grounds ministries, which are comprised of volunteers who use their gifts to serve the church as parking attendants, painters, landscapers, lawn care workers, and carpenters. Lori Robbins: Executive Assistant

As executive assistant, I provide administrative and organizational support to the Lead Pastor, Campus Pastor and Executive Director of Ministry. This includes providing support to the staff with payroll, insurance, updating church policies, and manuals.[Email]

Marisol Rosser: Office Assistant

As Office Assistant my role is to assist the Office Coordinator with the daily tasks of running Madison’s office. I also have the privilege of assisting the directors on ministry projects by providing administrative support. [Email]

Ken Schripsema: Executive Director of Ministry

As Executive Director of Ministry, I support the lead pastor as a servant leader by striving to ensure that Madison Square Church develops and implements a clear unified ministry plan that honors our Vision, Mission, Shared Values, and our Beliefs. I work hard to create a culture in which both staff and servant leaders thrive in ministry by using their spiritual gifts. Paula Seales: Director of Volunteers

As the Director of Volunteers I equip volunteers for works of service at Madison Square Church. I am responsible for developing clear pathways for serving as well as spiritual gifts training. Victor Perez: Children's Outreach Director

My ministry focus is on reaching our neighbors and the three main programs where we do this with children are Cadets for boys in 2nd-6th grade, Madison Girls for girls in 2nd-6th grade, and the Bible Club at Dickinson Elementary. These are fun ministries where share the love of Jesus not only with the children, but with their parents and guardians as well. [Email]

Bill Wiarda: Communications Director

As Communications Director I support other departments by helping them communicate their needs and events to our congregation through the website, newsletter, bulletin, and much of our Sunday morning technology including sound and video. Idella Winfield: Office Coordinator

As the Office Coordinator I provide administrative support to Directors in order to free up and meet the needs of their ministries. I am responsible for coordinating paper flow to/from directors, purchasing office supplies and food for ministry events, ensuring the costs are distributed among the appropriate budgets, and scheduling ministry events.
